The apt-get of windows

The first time I started using Ubuntu, I still remember Raghu telling about one of the best things about Ubuntu and that is the apt-get. Software installation has never been so easy. All you needed to install something like an opera browser would be a terminal command like “apt-get install opera”. I thought that unfortunately this can never happend with Windows. But things have changed quite some from that time.

It might just be a difference in the spelling, but the function pretty much replicates the same. This thing is called Win-Get.

Just that in this case all you need to replace the command which is win-get install <app-name>

And best part, win-get is for free. So go ahead and download winget.
