Compiz Fusion released
Nikhil Dev | August 28, 2007 | 1:48 pmI think I am not keeping pace with the news these days, but seems like the Beryl and Compiz combination which is called Compiz Fusion is released. I then started to look around for details, and stability factors. But we are adventurous people. So I think for people who want to show off a new technology, go for it. Right now I have not tried installing it myself but will soon do it and make detailed notes. If someone has done it already on an Ubuntu machine, please do comments on this with the instructions.
Meanwhile I have found a wonderful video that shows all the effects it has come up with. Watchout Mac!

>>>I am editing this article after reading from somewhere that Ubuntu 7.10(Gutsy Gibbon) will anyway have Compiz Fusion preinstalled on it. So all the people who want to avoid the hard work, WAIT
