Nikhil Dev

My name is Nikhil Dev. I’ve survived for 24 years, currently living in Hyderabad(Andhra Pradesh-India), where I work at Google(the world’s largest search engine). When not working, I love to listen to a lot of music, jamming as ‘DTuned’, developing web pages and applications, biking drinking beer and a lot more that I can’t remember right now. Apart from institutional education, I’m continuously learning and extending my knowledge through self-study and practice. While through my study I learn a lot on communication theory, project planning & management, I teach myself everything else I want and need to know through reading and practice, on topics as CSS & HTML usability, web application development using PHP, Ruby, Rails and MySql and anything that requires knowledge upgradation. Some of my latest interest include Python, Apache management and online internet radio broadcasting.

This domain is my online playground & portfolio. It has been around since 13th August 2005, serving as a showcase of my work as a Guitarist for our band ‘DTuned’, a web designer and developer and last but not least, as a platform where I can write and publish just about anything I’d like to share with the world.

I have spent quite some time potraying our lives as a completely non-commercial band. I am trying to put up everything about us from when we jam to our new originals to where and when we hangout.
