A few thoughts on browsers
Nikhil Dev | August 15, 2007 | 9:24 pmAt last I had my shell32.dll problem fixed by following all the instructions from the forum and undoind all the mess up that I have done. But, what matters is that it is fixed although I have lost some of the icons on my system. Anyway, I was reading Vivek’s blog and he was talking about some new extension that he had found which is great one for people doing research and its made for Firefox.
Now I have done quite a lot of experimentation when it comes to browsers. I have tried IE, Firefox, Flock, Netscape, Advanced browsers and a lot more that I cant really remember.
But one of the greatest finding I have found is that nothing can handling pages as good as Opera on Windows. Trust me, NOTHING. Its just so seamless and superlight even with heavy pages.
There were a lot of times when my FF froze when handling Java applets and Javascripts. And this happened on several machine. But till date I have not had even a single problem with Opera.
So what if it does not have all that extension support. At least it works for the browsing like nothing else. I would want anyone of you to take a test and use Opera and let me know how you find it.

I agree that Firefox sucks at handling Java and I
Vivek | August 17, 2007 | 10:36 amI agree that Firefox sucks at handling Java and I must say that Opera is a complete browser and one of my favorites. And if you would as our beloved friend Amaltas, he would say that Opera is the best browser in terms of standards compatibility like W3C. However Opera is just a free browser (not open source) and doesn’t have extensions. FF and Gecko basked browsers have that flawless flexibility just because of extension and being open source.
Nikhil your blog has some issues I cannot read the words at the end of a sentence. Can you rectify that.
